Summary: ChangMin suddenly shies away from the world.
Author's Notes: This image of ChangMin has always been in my head for quite a while now, but I haven't gotten into writing it just yet. I don't know why it chose to emerge in this prompt, but it did. ♥ ChangMin sweetie. For everyone who loves him like I do.

When ChangMin refuses food and starts sleeping under the bed ("It's already noon and he hasn't gotten up yet!"), everyone is alarmed. YunHo doesn't wait for explanations. He goes to the bedroom and tries to talk the youngest out of the shadows while everyone else gets busy: JaeJoong cooks ChangMin a wonderful meal, JunSu does the chores (even though hates them), and YooChun makes sure there are no sharp objects missing in the household.

It is almost dusk when ChangMin speaks. His voice breaks, "Why are you still here?," he asks and slips away into the darkness again. YooChun sees his silhouette turn and tremble as he cries silently while the other four just sit around and wait.

In the morning when he wakes (with stained cheeks and swollen eyes), he slowly crawls out from under the bed and finds four pairs of arms reaching for him, holding him. They are firm and warm — just like the morning sun — and he smiles and cries and smiles again, thankful for the comfort this family gives him.

There is silence, and JaeJoong rambles incoherently after a while, making JunSu and YooChun erupt in laughter. YunHo’s smile couldn’t even hide his misty eyes.

i think this side of Min... happens in everyone of them. there are time when we got confused and i think the way you put the hyungs...circling around, waiting (instead of pushing their way through)... is very delicate and appropriate.

Yes, they are but human. It's just sometimes we forget that and see them as gods. For me, considering things like this really happening to them is very real and natural. And it's also beautiful to write about. ^^
