Summary: AU. Changmin has a fake eye.
One of Changmin’s eyes is fake, the glass painted in warm hazel. Yunho knows it intimately, tried dozens of prototypes before hitting the shade he recalls over nonchalant morning coffee or swept beneath long lashes cuddling on the couch on movie nights. Changmin accepts his gift with a wry smile but sweeps his bangs so that they hang over the wound whenever they make love.
Yunho lifts Changmin’s chin. “Don’t you like it?”
Changmin brushes his hair back.
How much artifice pales, compared to the burning passion in Changmin’s real eye.
“No.” Changmin kisses Yunho. “I only thought you wouldn’t.”
