The next flashfic challenge is this prompt from the definitions of love by children, suggested by sleepish:

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Flashfic is 100 to 1000 words, but longer responses to the flashfic prompts are allowed. Flashfic challenges run for 2 weeks. This one will end on 30 January 2013.
