[Mod] Flashfic Challenge 216: die the heroes

The next flashfic challenge prompt is this quote, suggested by karavila:

Immediately after the monsters, die the heroes. -Roberto Calasso, The Marriage of Cadmus and Harmony

Flashfic is 100 to 1000 words, but longer responses to the flashfic prompts are allowed. Flashfic challenges run for 2 weeks. This one will end on 25 June 2014.

Right now, the basic format of the community is drabble (100 words exactly) prompts that last one week and flashfic prompts that last two weeks.

I am considering changing the format to just flashfic prompts that would run for two weeks. Drabbles could be posted in response to flashfic prompts, since flashfic can be any story that's at least 100 words.

What do you think:
* Is it okay to switch to just posting flashfic prompts? Or do you want to keep separate prompts for drabbles?
* If we switch to flashfic-only, should the challenges run for two weeks or for one week?

(I'm happy to keep the community running on the current format, too. Was just considering a change.)
