Tonight should be different, Jaejoong thinks as he breaks into the arena they were supposed to be performing in. It's not a good idea, being here, but after about half a dozen shots of tequila he couldn't really find that inhibition not to do it.

Yoochun had said, "I'm just dizzy, it's nothing to worry about," and, "I'm just a little tired." Jaejoong snorts at the memories, stumbling up the stairs and onto the stage. After a moment he trips, falls and chokes on a sob. He lays there for a few minutes, breathing heavily, before jolting to his feet and stares out at the empty seats.

"Why didn't you just be honest!" Jaejoong chokes, wishing he had another bottle of soju, "you didn't want me to hurt while you were sick? I hurt more now, Yoochun, it hurts more now."

He knows Yoochun wanted to make sure they enjoyed being together without the fear of not having another day but, "It's not fair, Yoochun. It's not-" Jaejoong pauses, "I didn't get to tell you. I didn't get to tell you I love you, Yoochun."

And for a brief moment, he thinks he sees Yoochun sitting in the front row, smiling sadly.
