Ooh this was gorgeous and so lovingly precise in its execution! I love the way they communicate without the need for words. The way the fic flows like - not music, but the beat upon which music is built. Their lives together have a certain rhythm and the beat can always go in a different direction, or stop entirely, and then it goes on again.
