Lynn’s voice was amazing. Though Changmin didn’t really listen to her songs, when he did, he simply adored the diva. While his soul moved from left to right in a slow motion according to the jazzy beat heard from his music player, he watched Mandoongi sleeping lazily next to the heater. Changmin’s mind was too full, no, too blank… but not exactly. He was not bored, he wasn’t tired, just comfortable. Outside, snow fell graciously and the cold thin air was too perfect for him to enjoy his—odd but true—leisure time. Quite, dim, cold, just perfect.

The front door cracked open, Changmin was not moving. He heard some voices and adjusting his head in the crook of his arms was the only response he did. A pair of strong palms squeezed his shoulders; it was cold, probably as cold as the air outside. Sleepy, was what he decided when the hands pulled him up. Changmin turned around and with eyes half-closed he embraced every sense of Yunho as the man kissed him sweet, looking for some warmness.

Yunho felt sweet and cold, Changmin felt giddy. “Welcome home,” he whispered as Yunho greeted him an I’m home. “Ice cream?” he asked Yunho for his strange habit during winter. It was a long time ago when he stopped blaming Donghae for this habit Yunho had.

Yunho grinned and shook his head. “We tried the new milkshake booth.” Changmin wanted to roll his eyes but he blinked instead. “Now would you warm me?” Yunho asked wickedly.

As he clung his arms around Yunho’s neck, Changmin remembered why exactly he stopped blaming Donghae. After all, winter was perfect for his sweet Yunho.
