Title: elementary waltz on 3/4
Author: Reeza (
aoireeza)
Word count: 100 words
Concrit?: Sure. :D
Pairing: JaeSu
Rating: PG
Summary: You can never blame gravity for two people falling in love. Cliché, but true. (for
dbsk_flashfic @ drabble challenge 28: slide)
You're dancing - like swans and birds do, he tells you as he takes your hand and twirls you until the only thing you can make out is his smile in certain circles. He's on his toes, spinning, and you wonder briefly if this is how the world revolves - on one foot, almost falling, just almost, but not quite. Then he takes the risk, spins faster and misses the part where you say Stop! He never listens.
So when he slips, you catch him, and you fall together. You called, he asks. You shake your head.
I saved you.

Date: 2008-09-15 11:45 pm (UTC)With music a 3/4 is a time signature. Waltz's are usually performed or composed on a 3/4 time signature.(Usually, sometimes people go crazy and sometimes do it on 4/4. Which can be really akward)
Example: You would count: 1,2,3 1,2,3 instead of the usual 1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4.
So Jaejoong and Junsu are waltzing. It's fast pace but a waltz around each other nonetheless.
I hope that helps! :D

Date: 2008-09-16 06:42 am (UTC)It seems like we count 1,2,3 5,6,7,8 with a salsa (leaving 4 between). Now I know it is called 3/4. :D
Thank you again, it did help a lot! <3

Date: 2008-09-16 07:15 pm (UTC)We started with 1,2,3 1,2,3 as a beginner, then later when we were learning the complex figures (I dunno if it is a right word in English), we changed counting till 8 leaving out the 4.
Ah, so wish to spam here more with you about a salsa. <3
Butbutbut..
Reeza, dear, it is your own fault that you had such an amazing title to your piece. :D
