Pairing: Jaejoong/Yoochun
Yoochun can't sleep again; his body is aching, he's exhausted but his mind is awake and running in circles. Yoochun tosses and turns; he's restless, desperate for sleep but his heart is pounding in his chest and his ears are ringing.
It's on nights like these that Jaejoong climbs into Yoochun's bed and tonight is no exception. Jaejoong gets up, walks over to Yoochun's bed and slips under the covers. Yoochun moves over to make space, more than welcoming his company. He doesn't need to turn around to know it's Jaejoong.
"Can't sleep again?"
"Yeah."
Jaejoong, as he's become accustomed to do, moves to spoon with Yoochun; his torso against Yoochun's back, entertwines their legs and wraps an arm around Yoochun's waist, pulling him close and kissing his shoulder.
It's on nights like these, when Jaejoong slowly falls asleep against Yoochun, that Yoochun's body and mind can finally rest.
Yoochun finds that Jaejoong's warmth against him, his arm around him, his slow breathing against his neck and the beating of his heart against his back is the only thing that makes the pounding in his chest and the ringing in his ears stop.
Because Jaejoong is a lullaby, Yoochun's lullaby.
