soul betrayal

[jaejoong realizes the extent of his feelings.]

 

jaejoong, mouth agape, replays his own words in his head.
"for you, i'd do anything.  let me help."
he realizes that it's true.  really true.
but yunho has already laughed it off, saying, "thanks, but i'll figure it out."

jaejoong doesn't want to be a place for empty words.
he wonders how he's gotten this far.
friendship?  fondness?  then, love?

jaejoong searches his own heart and...
after he connects the dots, he realizes all the sharp corners.
how they hurt and how beautiful they are.
but they also elbow out jaejoong's true intentions.
friendship?  fondness?  love?

the edges overlap and twist, making a impenetrable barrier.
jaejoong feels betrayed.
his own soul has been keeping important secrets from him.
jaejoong replays his own words in his head.
then realizes that love is like an ambush.
it sneaks up quietly and the when you least expect it...
it catches you off guard.
