Loud and Clear :: response to drabble challenge 10: oyaji gags

Title: Loud and Clear
Author: dbdbyeah  [ yes, this is still me, i promise. c: ]

Pairing: Yoochun / Changmin

A/N: [edited] i didn't know how to handle oyaji gags so........ i tried to work around saying/hearing something as one thing, and then when you say/hear the same thing a bit differently, it could actually mean something else. eeeeee i suck at life? yessss.

A/N2: this is also for my yoomin muse foolishlovexo , welcome back dongsaeng. c:

The first time Yoochun hears it from Changmin, it sounds more like an assortment of hums than a group of words. Changmin blurts it out so fast that Yoochun fails to catch it. (He thinks Changmin is talking to himself again, murmuring information spilling out from his over-filled brain.)



The second time Changmin manages to find him and say it, Yoochun is too busy worrying about the last few lines of a new song he is working on. He nods his head absent mindedly, and he doesn’t see how pale Changmin has become.

After Changmin exhales, he turns and walks out the door quietly.

Yoochun makes his way to the kitchen a few minutes later, only to find it empty. I thought he said dinner was ready?



The next time is the last time.

Changmin tells Yoochun with his lips and his hands. Yoochun replies with labored breaths and his heart thumping in his chest. He is up against the wall and Yoochun thinks, Oh… OH.

The confession continues to hang in the air between them as they pull away. This time, Yoochun catches it with a smile against Changmin’s lips.

I love you too, Min.
