It's a strange time of day but Jaejoong supposes that with their schedules there are no un-strange times of day. The curtains are wide open, the hotel windows a wrap-around of dull grey sky and distant city far below. The shadows are soft and indistinct.

Beside him Junsu could be asleep. He's unusually still and his eyes are closed, but Jaejoong, skeptical, watches until he sees Junsu's lips quirk because Junsu is incapable of remaining motionless for that long. Leaning close Jaejoong blows a breath across those restless warm lips and Junsu opens one eye, very narrow.

There's a smile and a challenge in that narrow look, but before Jaejoong can muster his defenses Junsu has turned. The shadows, now sharply defined, are all curves and edges, alluring and tempting, sliding over and around him.

"You started it," Jaejoong complains. "You weren't sleeping."

Junsu's response is something ridiculous and irresistible.
