Changmin walks.

His footing is unsure and unsteady, side-stepping to the left, then to the right. “How many more steps to go? I can’t… this is…” Junsu turns back, and his eyes are smiling, catching the light of the sun’s rays. “Come on, Minnie. It’s only so much more to go.” He captures Changmin’s wrist, holds it tight around his fingers, and Junsu can feel the sticky-salty touch of sweat against his skin. Down the straight path they go, until a blurry figure comes into vision, and their quick steps slow down to a halt.

Jaejoong.

And Changmin runs, runs across the road, while Junsu watches, his eyes still smiling. And Junsu takes his own hands and feels the traces of Min that have been left on him, the familiar scent still lingering on his shoulder. He is happy, or so he thinks, because maybe this was enough for now.
