You fell asleep.
One hour. Two. Three.
Hands shake you awake.

Your eyes open.
You smile brightly.
He is standing there.
His smile melting your heart.

He calls your name.
You answer by jumping into his arms.
He holds you as you cling to him.

The others can wait.
He’s more important.
But he pulls away.

Three others hug you.
They whisper words of love.
You cry slightly. You missed them all.

All of you move to sit down.
Your lover sits by you immediately.
The others leave you two alone.

He calls your name.
