AN: I'm impatient, so this has not been beta read. Apologies for excessive angst lately, I'm not in the best of moods. title from And Darling by Tegan and Sara, and cut-text from Run Run Run by Kalan Porter.




Don't worry; the sun will rise tomorrow. Such certainty in his words. Yunho smiles and takes your hand and you notice how hard he shakes, like a leaf in autumn. You hope to be the one to catch him. This will all blow over, and things can go back to normal.

You know it's bad you hope that it doesn't. You don't like normal, because normal means you are left, empty and aching, as they dive in all around you. The water's great, they call. You don't jump, because you would drown.

There are times when you think you should just grab onto his hand and say, I love you, consequences be damned. How would he react, what would he say? The masochist in you thinks he would say, I know— what took you so long, Yoochun? Sometimes, you believe in that part of you so much that you almost open your mouth and say it—

(But Yunho was right: The sun rose. I'm sorry, he says, and pulls him into an embrace. I'm sorry. And Yunho just smiles, kisses him, says: I know— what took you so long, Changmin? You wonder if that's what a heart breaking sounds like.)

erk D: i have to start first? is it because i suggested the idea? XD;

i've got a few questions, then...

a) so we'll be using the specific songs from the soundtrack as prompts, right? how long d'you think each chapter should be (100-250 word drabbles, 250-800 word ficlets, 800-10000 word ...er, idk what to call this one. 8D)? whichever you can work with best, because i think we should try to stay consistent throughout — i'm fine with anything. should we send each chapter to each other for one last beta/read-through before posting, or keep it top sekrit until it's posted (which, while fun, seems kind of like a recipe for disaster D:)? i think your posting idea is good.

b) AU or non? are Yoochun and Yunho together already, or will they get together at some other point during the story? any other pairings? any other bands? what's your standing on het? on porn? on UST? on OCs? do you have any specific plot ideas or outlines, or are we just winging it?

and finally c) friends? :D?
