Title: That noisy beat
Author: Reeza (
aoireeza)
Word count: 150 words
Concrit?: sure. :D
Pairing: HoSu
Rating: PG
Summary: They're dancing without shoes. Lord knows they'll slip and fall. (for
dbsk_flashfic @ drabble challenge 20: bare feet; inspired by this)
They’re a bit too enigmatic for each other to save each other’s lives (hearts). Yunho’s smiling that small smile of his – the one that reflects the child in him, not the leader – and breaking Junsu’s heart little by little, one step, one beat, one song at a time. In response, Junsu smiles a little too brightly – it blinds Yunho’s eyes; it can kill. So they dance to smiles set to the tune of a country-style love song, and they can freely dance as they wish – a step here, two counts till they take a step forward, just one more step before their lips touch and they lose all control – finally.
Somewhere along the way, they stumble and fall, and they’re all limbs and hearts over one another. It’s a twisted fate, but it works. They rise, hand-in-hand, dance to a new beat.
It’s about time they get the steps right.
