A/N: i haven't written anything in a long time. this is dedicated to aoireeza, coz she's my hosu, jaesu, muse and she might not be feeling too good right now. *hugs* written while listening to Sarah Bareilles' GRAVITY.

It was one of those cold nights. Another day of keeping up appearances had passed. Carrying U-know on his shoulders all day weighed heavily on Yunho’s soul (again, as always.)

Hyung, echoed a familiar voice — soft threads of concern weaving their way into Yunho’s heart. The anticipation of the gentle touch that usually followed spread warmth through Yunho’s body.

He was ready to ignore it. Yunho had the act down. He was supposed to say I’m fine, and then turn his back. Junsu was supposed to climb on the bed and nudge him, occasionally placing butterfly kisses on his hair. They were supposed to fight over a massage and the need to talk and the space between them. Yunho was supposed to feign sleep, making Junsu sigh before giving him one last kiss.

Junsu was supposed to be there.

Hyung…

But Yunho wasn’t supposed to mind that he wasn’t, either.
